General Information

The Georgetown House Tour, to benefit the ministries of St. John's Episcopal Church, will take place on Saturday, April 26th, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This year's tour will feature eight to ten of Georgetown's most beautiful homes and their impressive gardens. Tour houses and gardens will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Houses are arranged for easy walking at your own pace taken in the order you prefer. A map of the houses will make it possible to set your own route.

Following the long-standing tradition, the tour includes a bountiful afternoon tea in the Parish Hall of historic St. John's Church at 3240 O Street, N.W.  Tea, featuring homemade tea sandwiches and sweets, will be served from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and it is included in the ticket.

Limited parking for a minimal fee is available across the street from St. John's Church.  Tour Groups are welcome and bus parking can be arranged.

Advance tickets are $40 per person if you purchase by April 19th, after that they are $45 per person. Discount tickets are available for groups of 20 or more at a rate of $35 per person. Tickets may be purchased at St. John's Church on Friday, April 25th and on tour days On-line ticket sales will close TODAY at 7 pm, Friday, April 25. Tours will be held rain or shine. No cancellations or refunds.
