Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I pick up my tickets?
Pick up tickets on the lawn of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 3240 O Street NW, between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the day of the Tour. Bring your ticket confirmation and you’ll receive a Georgetown House Tour Magazine. The magazine is your ticket into every house and the Parish Tea.
Can I bring my children?
Children over 12 and infants are welcome. We discourage bringing young children who are past the infant stage. The homes cannot accommodate strollers, so please bring a baby carrier or arrange for someone to wait outside with your stroller.
What is the tour route?
All of the homes are within six blocks of St. John’s, and the House Tour Magazine includes a map to guide you. Volunteers on site are happy to suggest a route, but you may visit the homes in any order you like.
Are there hotels near St. John’s and the tour route?
Georgetown is very walkable, so any hotel in the neighborhood will put you within easy reach of the Tour. Nearby options at a range of price points include the Georgetown Inn, the Holiday Inn, and the Four Seasons.
Is transportation provided?
No. This is a walking tour, so we recommend comfortable shoes!
What if it rains?
The Tour goes on rain or shine. We’re hoping for a beautiful spring day, but it’s never a bad idea to bring an umbrella.
Where should I park?
Please see the parking section of our website.
