Patrons’ Party

Each spring, St. John’s Episcopal Church invites the community and friends from near and far to the Georgetown House Tour. Residents open their doors to share the architecture, design, and history of Georgetown, and proceeds support vital outreach programs in our community.

The Patrons’ Party officially opens the Tour and is a joyful celebration of friendship and community. Our friends’ and neighbors’ generosity allows St. John’s to serve people experiencing homelessness through its partnership with the Georgetown Ministry Center and to support food security initiatives. It also keeps the church’s facilities open to many community groups, including the Citizens Association of Georgetown, the DC Department of Public Works, Hyde-Addison Elementary School, and the Georgetown Hospital Children’s Unit, as well as many nonprofit organizations that offer programs for people of all ages and walks of life.

The 2027 Patrons’ Party will take place on Wednesday, April 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Venue to be announced.
